Abstract

|
Objectives :This study was aimed to review the trend of occupational health in korean medicine and to suggest the strategic approach.
Methods : We collected 40 articles on occupational health in the internet site OASIS using the keyword ¡®workplace¡¯, ¡®worker¡¯. Then we analyzed them.
Results : There were 40 papers that were published between 2000 and 2012. Published papers on the korean journal of oriental preventive medicine were more than the other journals. Affiliation of the first author of the published papers was concentrated to one. Clinical research papers accounted for 90% of the total study. Papers on health management were more than half.
Conclusions : Related to occupational health, high quality and large amount of research and development is needed and the active policy of the government should be supported in Korean medicine.
